    "body": "<p><strong>Whether it&rsquo;s a bottle opened while something is slowly simmering in the kitchen, a glass poured alongside a cheese board or simply that final drink of the day under a blanket, Lidl&rsquo;s new autumn wine selection brings together rich reds, elegant classics and a few fresher options for those not quite ready to say goodbye to summery white.</strong></p><h4 id=\"for-when-the-evening-deserves-something-a-little-bolder-barolo\" ><strong>For when the evening deserves something a little bolder: Barolo</strong></h4><p>When the temperatures drop, richer reds come into their own. One bottle that particularly stands out is the Barolo 2021 (&euro;9.99). Made from Nebbiolo in Piemonte, it has a spicy character, a dry palate and a long savoury finish. It scored 88 points from the Master of Wine and pairs especially well with truffle, porcini mushrooms, lamb or roast beef. Round and pleasantly full-bodied, the Lalande de Pomerol (&euro;9.99) is an easy bottle to reach for when the evening calls for something smooth and comforting. It&rsquo;s a classic Primitivo that brings together ripe Mediterranean fruit and generous concentration. Light-bodied and off-dry, with a pleasant bitter edge on the finish.
